Annual security reports (ASRs) are due October 1. In this 5-minute “Mythbusting” video, Clery Center Executive Director Alison Kiss tackles common misconceptions surrounding the ASR, including information about the number of required policy statements, methods of distributing the ASR, and more.

The video also discusses free resources, like the Clery Center’s ASR Policy Statement Overview, which clearly defines each required policy statement and provides worksheet space to make notes on your institution’s policy, and the Clery Center’s upcoming “Looking Back, Moving Forward” conference, taking place in Washington, D.C. this November.
