National Campus Safety Awareness Month - September 2013
Safe Campus, Strong Voices (SCSV) is a national initiative organized by the Clery Center and Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment (PAVE) for National Campus Safety Awareness Month. Over 300 institutions have already downloaded the SCSV toolkit and have started planning their activities for NCSAM.
Within the toolkit you will find a 30 Days/30 Activities guide (to help you plan), a social media guide with sample statuses/tweets, a sample press release, Resident Assistant bulletin board materials, and more. Participants also have access to free student-produced documentaries created as part of the PACT5 collaborative documentary project, focused on raising awareness about sexual assault on campus. An accompanying documentary guide, as well as additonal information and handouts from this year's Day of Action can be found here.
On September 10th, we conducted a webinar which focused on how to engage your campus community during National Campus Safety Awareness Month and throughout the school year. You can view a recording of the webinar here.
This year we added the resources of these incredible organizations and groups.
